The Fitch Fuel Catalyst has a distinct niche in the marine market. The deterioration of diesel starts as soon as it leaves the refinery. Exposure to the Fitch’s poly metallic alloys reverses any degrading providing the user with a better quality of fuel. Thus improving fuel economy by up to 5.7% through a more efficient combustion – this also improves performance and lessens emissions significantly, particularly NO2, CO2 and NO.
Further to this, and highly relevant to the marine market, the system kills diesel bugs and acts like a permanent fuel additive. So, if your engine is not used for any sustained periods of time - off-season or on the hard for example - the Fitch will ensure the fuel is clean and ready for use even after a sedentary number of months.
